Farmz2u’s Operations team is seeking an Administrative Operations Intern who will be an outstanding addition to our growing team. As a member of the Farmz2u team, you will provide essential support to the development of our operations in Nigeria. This includes assisting with user onboarding, managing administrative tasks, overseeing document management, and contributing to a smooth workflow. With our Nigerian team being small and growing rapidly, this role requires flexibility and a problem-solving attitude.
As an early Hitchhiker, you will influence the development of the team culture in Nigeria, making cultural fit a priority for the role. This dynamic role may be fairly unstructured, making it essential for the right person to be a good communicator and an analytical problem solver with a strong attention to detail. The ideal candidate would have a natural curiosity for problem-solving and the ability to prioritize multiple projects and requests simultaneously.
Qualifications required for the role are a Bachelor’s degree (preferably recently graduated) and an intermediate level proficiency with standard software, including MS Office Suite.

Key Duties And Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the office filing system, ensuring documents are organized and easily accessible.
- Draft and send emails, letters, and other correspondence.
- Assist with office maintenance, including ordering and organizing office supplies.
- Answer and direct phone calls and inquiries as needed.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings and events, making arrangements for venues and equipment
- Assist in preparing reports, documents, and presentations.
- Handle document duplication and distribution tasks.
- Conduct research on various topics, such as agriculture, value chains, technology, etc., for projects.
- Oversee and provide guidance to Field Operations Associates.
- Curating newsletters and SMS updates for clients and product users.
- Filter through candidate applications and assist in the selection process.
- Manage onboarding and offboarding task completion.
