The IFC Controllers Department (CNT) is responsible for effectively and efficiently managing IFC’s Financial Operations (loan, equity and short-term finance operations, and back-office treasury support operations), Financial Reporting (including reporting and analysis, portfolio review, investment accounting and accounting policy), Internal Controls, and Financial Integration, Systems and Projects. The Department comprises approximately 140 diverse and highly skilled staff, based in Washington DC, and Chennai. 

The Extended Term Temporary (ETT) will report to the Director.  

Duties & Responsibilities:


• Office Management and logistics: Manage the day to day administrative activities of the director, including, maintenance of the director’s calendar and ensuring that all briefing/background material for meetings is provided ahead of time, managing the director’s travel arrangements, managing the purchase order and invoice payment processes for the director and liaising with the resource management team, scheduling the director’s group meetings and Teams/webex arrangements, managing logistics for workshops, retreats and other events, managing the monitoring, measurement and reporting of the department’s key performance metrics, assisting with the on-boarding of new staff or visitors.
• Project Management: Assist the department with managing various project and product deliverables. Use innovative tools such as dashboards, mobile applications, SharePoint, Microsoft Planner, etc. to increase transparency, visibility and accountability for completion of activities and facilitate collaboration and coordination.
• Content Management: Assist the department with managing its online and in-house content.  Facilitate ease of retrieval and access to information for the department and its various stakeholders, in line with the IFC’s record management policies. Assist with the development and maintenance of online libraries and manuals to enhance business continuity and training efforts.

Selection Criteria

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline, e.g., accounting, finance, business administration, information technology, knowledge management, or a related discipline, with 2 to 3 years of work experience in a related field.  PMP certification is a plus.
• Knowledge of technology tools used to develop effective delivery mechanisms for the team’s content, such as dashboards, websites, mobile applications.  
• Knowledge of Tableau, SharePoint, Microsoft office suite of products (particularly Power Point, Word, Excel, Planner).  
• Strong communication/writing skills, including the ability to explain and express views/opinions articulately and confidently.
• Strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to deliver high quality results/outputs in a timely manner.
• Proactive, innovative, with an open and collegial work style and ability to listen and integrate ideas from diverse views, create partnerships, and collaborate with others while maintaining individual responsibility.
• Ability to deal sensitively in a multi-cultural environment and build effective working relations with clients and colleagues.
