CESDI is duly registered with the Nigerian Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) since 2014. The Organization is involved in community development, capacity building, economic empowerment, social counseling, social mobilization, raising awareness/ education on health and conflict resolution/peace building initiatives.

Job Title: FSL Community Facilitator
Location: Maiduguri, Borno
Employment Type: Contract
Job Summary
- We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Food Security and Livelihood (FSL) Facilitator to join our team.
- The FSL Facilitator will be responsible for implementing food security and livelihood programs, providing technical support to beneficiaries, and ensuring the effective delivery of project activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement FSL programs in accordance with organizational guidelines and donor requirements.
- Facilitate training sessions on agricultural practices, income-generating activities, and vocational skills.
- Provide technical support and guidance to beneficiaries to improve agricultural productivity and livelihood opportunities.
- Monitor the progress of FSL activities and provide regular reports to the FSL Officer
- Collaborate with local authorities, community leaders, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of FSL programs.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures, including safeguarding and gender equity.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Agriculture, Economics, Development Studies, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in food security and livelihood programming.
- Strong knowledge of agricultural practices, food security issues, and livelihood strategies.
- Experience in conducting training sessions and capacity-building activities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Hausa and Kanuri Languages
- Willingness to travel to remote and rural areas in Konduga LGA
