Job Summary
- We are seeking an experienced driver to join our manufacturing team in Nigeria as a Company Driver.
- This full-time role is responsible for safely operating company vehicles to transport raw materials, finished products, equipment, and personnel within Nigeria.
Duties / Responsibilities
- Safely drive box trucks, vans, or cars to deliver materials and products between facilities, to vendors, ports, and customers
- Plan efficient delivery routes and schedules to meet transport needs and timelines
- Load and unload vehicles properly, securing cargo for safe transit
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, report maintenance issues
- Maintain driver logs according to regulations
- Comply with applicable transportation laws and driving regulations
- Maintain a valid Nigerian commercial driver’s license and clean driving record.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess an SSCE qualification
- 4+ years of experience driving commercial vehicles in Lagos.
- Valid Nigerian CDL with necessary endorsements
- Clean driving record with no major infractions
- Excellent knowledge of Lagos road and highway rules
- Professional conduct and communication skills
- Ability to safely operate vehicles and adhere to defensive driving techniques
- Strong time management and organization abilities
- Attention to detail and record-keeping skills.
