Job Title: Agronomist / Crop Scientist
Location: Umuahia, Abia
Job Summary
- We operate an automated rice mill in addition to other food process operations.
- We are seeking an agronomist / crop scientist to work with our partners and associates on the procurement and development of improved varieties of rice (and cassava).
- The ideal candidate will be expected to fully reside in Umuahia and work in our development facilities on the improvement of cultivars for rice and cassava as well as the processing of those produce lines into shelf-stable products.
- Candidates will be expected to have demonstrated ability to drive developments in a lab into living products that can help feed Nigerians. Qualified candidates who thrive on innovation will find this to be a very engaging position.
- We intend to hire two crop scientists to add to the growing team.
