Abundance Food Farms and Agro Allied Limited is a fast-growing Agriculture and Agro-Allied Company whose headquarters is in Ibadan. We are focused on producing quality crops and processing these crops into semi-processed products and ready to eat products. AFFALS is involved in processing of cassava, maize and some vegetables and is expanding into other products and agricultural products.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Farm Supervisor / Manager
Location: Oyo
Employment Type: Full Time
Key Responsibilities
- Managing farm operations.
- Must be able to implement agronomic best practices for all farm crops.
- Provide guidance and support to farm staffs including performance management, conflict resolution, and employee development.
- Be able to manage man, money and material resources.
Qualifications
- Attainment of training and practical experience in related field is required.
- Possession of academic and professional qualification could be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in managing a crop farm.
Requirements:
- Proven knowledge, experience, and ability either on or applicable to tuber crops, cash crops, grains, and vegetables, relating to Best agronomic practices, Operational management i.e. relating to optimal effective uses of men, money, and material resources.
- High profitability arising from innovative approaches to the i & ii above and others such as intercropping, integrated agriculture as well as organization of off taking arrangement with other farmers etc.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Organizational abilities and attention to detail
- Willingness to live within farm vicinity is preferred.
- Yoruba Language competency is preferred.
